Business Sponsors – direct contributions to our gas fund

For the MG Awareness cross country drive, with an estimated 4,500 miles from Massachusetts to the California state line and many more beyond to Oregon, the cost of gas alone just for the one way drive across country is estimated to be well over $1,000.

One idea to fund this drive is to have 10 businesses  advertise on the bus at  $100 a time.  Of course, a business could underwrite a larger portion of the expenses to enable The YesWeCan CamperVan to zig-zag across country even more and spread the word to as many people as possible.

Businesses that contribute to expenses for the “MG Awareness” road trip will be shown on this page with their logos and mentioned in the blog section. They will also be mentioned on the four Facebook and Twitter accounts shown in the footer of this site. Therefore, for a contribution of $100, a sponsor will be mentioned in five different places on the internet, with links to thousands of people …… and thousands more will see sponsors’ logos on the side of  The YesWeCan CamperVan.

Please comment below if you’d like to become a financial sponsor or help find a sponsor. Also there’s space below to add your ideas and suggestions on how to make this work for both sponsors and our cause, or you can email us with your proposals.

List of business/organization contributors

Carole visited Big Daddy’s Diner on her first drive across country in 2010 when she was bringing her VW bus to Massachusetts. Both the town at 8,500 feet and this restaurant are on Carole’s list of recommendations. We’re also delighted that Big Daddy’s Diner is our first financial sponsor for the drive to put MG on the map. Look out for their logo onTheYesWeCan CamperVan!

  • Myasthenia Gravis ‘Flakes’, a global internet-based patient group

are a group of MG patients who communicate virtually and who support each other through the ups and downs of MG, which affects each person differently, hence the name Flakes from snowflakes. Their contribution as a sponsor was fueled also by their desire to pay tribute to their dear friend and fellow MGer, Joe, who recently passed away from MG complications.

is a first rate VW dealership as can be seen by reading the customer reviews on their Facebook page, which tells of outstanding service and helpful advice in making a purchasing decision. Carole was delighted when SanTan contacted her and agreed to take a sponsor space. In addition to the $100 for gas, SanTan gave Carole a personal gift bag and The YesWeCan CamperVan a nice shiny holder for those Massachusetts plates!
