If you know of information to find other support networks, please add information about them in the comment box below and we will add them to this page later. Thank you.

There are also an increasing number of groups on FACEBOOK, including:

Myasthenia Gravis Friends is a support group for all Myasthenia Gravis sufferers, friends, and family members looking for answers.
It describes itself as “This group is about that part of being ill… the part of you that doesn’t hurt or ache, that isn’t less able or exhausted. The part of you that tries to live life as it comes. Your MG may differ every day. Yet, you are still you. You and me, we all cry, enjoy, party, laugh, hug. Being long term ill doesn’t change that.”

One of the largest groups with a very active flow of questions and answers between patients is Myasthenia Gravis with almost 3000 members worldwide.

Facebook group MG Awareness World-Wide is aimed at sharing ideas on how to spread awareness. Please email if you’d like to join us there.

There are also Facebook groups for MG children, such as:
MGA National Children’s Branch, an open Facebook group with a website calledMyasthenicKids at

There are also some Facebook pages, too. Such as:
Anita Ollinger’s “I’m not drunk, I have Myasthenia Gravis
Alice White-Kaminski’s “Life with Myasthenia Gravis (MG)
Jessica Ali’s  ”Purely MG Awareness – in memory of Safa Leila

There must be many more Facebook and non-Facebook support groups, so would you please comment below and share details of the groups you find valuable so that others can find them, also? Thank you.
